Strauss & Partner and Munich Hotel Invest are planning a new hotel for Frankfurt’s Gateway Gardens airport quarter. The 2,900 sqm Alpha 1.4 building site was acquired for the project from Gateway Gardens GmbH through a special purpose vehicle. The airport business hotel will offer 288 guest rooms and conference facilities over 12,000 sqm.
“We are currently going through the planning application process and assume that the planning permission will be approved in spring 2015. This would make April 2015 a realistic date for the start of construction as planned. We rely on proven project partners like Guder+Hoffend Architekten and contractor PORR Deutschland GmbH with whom we have collaborated for many years,” said Christian Berger, managing director at Strauss & Partner Deutschland.
