The Dutch-based company Student Hotel is targeting Lisbon and Porto for possible investment, following new openings by the company in Amsterdam. Charlie MacGregor, CEO of Student Hotel says that Lisbon and Porto are showing increasing numbers of students, entrepreneurs and tourists who are looking for flexible accommodations. “The group is working with local partners to identify buildings with ideas and features that allow the construction of units,” said MacGregor. Student Hotel’s network currently offers around 3,000 rooms in Holland, Spain and France and the next opening is scheduled for 2017 in Florence, Italy.
