The American fast food chain Subway has signed its first contract in Romania with Iulius Group, a major developer and operator of shopping malls in Romanian. The first new Subway restaurant will open this April in Iasi, in northeast Romania. It will be positioned at the entrance of Palas Mall, occupying 90 sqm. Subway has been developing its restaurant chain in in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Slovakia and Croatia. It already operates three restaurants in Romania.
