Succes Nic COM, which operates the Succes supermarket chain on the Romanian market, has filed for insolvency, according to Ilfov County court papers. The first hearing on the matter is scheduled for Jan. 27. Controlled by Nicolae Sarcina, the company currently operates more than 150 stores, shops and supermarkets in Arges, Constanta, Gorj, Hunedoara, Mehedinti, Valcea and Bucharest counties. It posted a turnover of RON 354m in 2013.
