The company Sun & Snow, which manages the rental of over 2,000 apartments in over 40 holiday resorts and cities in Poland, announced that their goal for 2022 is to increase the number of serviced apartments. After investing in own sales channels, which translated into 75 percent. All bookings generated this way also have amenities for apartment owners.
This year, Sun & Snow consistently intends to invest in the promotion of the offer, its own reservation system and the apartment owners’ service panel. It also hopes to increase the number of rented premises.
“We achieve very good results for the owners and thus ensure high profitability of the serviced apartments. Over 60 percent. We work out reservations on our own through our reservation system, and nearly 75 percent. comes from our own sales channels. Thanks to the proprietary booking system in which we constantly invest, the activities of local offices and intensive marketing campaigns aimed at both individual and corporate clients, we want to improve this indicator. This is of great importance for owners, because relying only on cooperation with booking portals may not be sufficient, and their effectiveness in ensuring full occupancy of the apartment is not always satisfactory. In addition, our local offices provide day-to-day service to guests who, in emergencies, can count on a 24-hour emergency telephone,” says Bartłomiej Majdak, Key Account Director at Sun & Snow.
The company is constantly working to develop benefits for owners. One of them is the “Owner’s Club”, thanks to which they can exchange the so-called “Ownership stays”. A club member may use the apartments in the club, located in 36 resorts in Poland, free of charge for 10 days a year. Currently, the club has nearly 700 apartments.
“By developing further amenities for owners, we introduced, among others flexibility in cooperation with selected brokers and the possibility of excluding some of them – which translates into the costs incurred by individual apartments. The owners can also set a minimum price for renting their apartment or resign from promotional campaigns. Thanks to this, they have a real impact on the achieved income. We are constantly improving our control panel, which offers not only income reports, but also many detailed statistics. Recently, we have introduced easier invoicing, which can be done even without the participation of the owner, the so-called self-billing. In the coming months, we will be introducing new functionalities that should be received very positively,” summarizes the Key Account Director.
The actions taken already bring the first results. In January this year. the company has signed contracts for servicing over 30 new apartments and is in talks with over a dozen owners interested in joining the largest independent apartment chain in Poland.
