Sunoko, part of MK Group, is planning to invest €1m to set up a sugar beet research center in Serbia next year. The center will focus on applied research of the production technology of that crop, said company director Slobodan Kosutic. “This investment is significant in order to try to raise sugar beet production. We see great potential in this branch of agriculture, and that is why we are ready to invest, not only in our partners, but also in sharing knowledge with all those who want to increase yields on their beet fields,” said Kosutic.
