The Piedmont Office Realty Trust, based in Atlanta Ga., has acquired SunTrust Center, the tallest building in downtown Orlando, for $170 million. Built in 1988 and sitting on a 4.5 acre site, the 35 story building features an eight-story atrium with veined marble floors and granite walls stretching over more than 650,000 square feet of office space. The seller, Brookdale Group, bought the asset in 2012 for $131.5 million.
