Supernus Pharmaceuticals has signed a lease on a building in Gaithersburg’s Firstfield Life Science Cluster. The 119,000 sq ft of lab and office space will serve as Supernus Pharmaceuticals’ new company headquarters. Acquired by the Rock Creek Property Group and Woodside Ventures in late 2015, the class C property will undergo a complete renovation to convert it into class A lab and office space with a first-floor indoor parking structure. The renovation of the building is slated for completion in mid-2019. Supernus is a publicly traded company that specializes in therapies for central nervous system diseases. Edge Commercial represented Rock Creek Property Group in the lease negotiations, while Scheer Partners represented Supernus.
