Suzuki looks to hold on to 11% market share in Hungary

Japanese automotive manufacturer Suzuki is planning to sell about 11,780 new passenger cars in Hungary in 2017, holding on to its 11-percent market share. Suzuki sold 11,266 new passenger cars last year, representing a market share of 11.67 percent, according to industry researcher Datahouse. Last yearʼs strong results were mainly due to the unexpected success of Suzukiʼs Vitara SUV model. Domestic sales of Vitara amounted to 6,538, or 23.2 percent, of the SUV segment, according to market data.
