SVN Residentialist, the SVN’s division that operates on the local residential secondary market, i.e., the resale of properties regardless of the year of delivery, started the process of national expansion aimed at territorial coverage by opening local offices. Thus, the company closed a partnership with the shareholders of two former RE/MAX offices and simultaneously opened two new additional offices.
”The secondary residential market is curently registering more positive results and we believe that there is a significant potential for development, already benefiting from a unique know-how gained through our activity. We thus reached four offices in Bucharest and one in Constanta, and we want to open several new offices every year in order to reach the best possible territorial coverage,” stated Alexandru Pricop, managing partner SVN Residentialist.
The secondary residential market continues to attract the largest number of home transactions, considering that new homes deliveries from the big cities in Romania in one year represent less than one third of the total number of transactions concluded in those areas, and the degree of absorption of new housing do not exceed 80% until delivery.
”After developing and consolidating our position as the most active large real estate consultant active on the residential market, with an exclusive portfolio of over 15 projects and annual closed transactions of over EUR 120 million, we want to strongly expand also in the secondary segment of the residential market. We will continue to identify new opportunities, regardless of whether we are talking about new regional offices in the main cities from Romania of new offices in Bucharest,” stated Andrei Sarbu, CEO SVN Romania.
