Entrepreneurs Savaș Günata and Huseyin Karali, the founders of Synergy Construct, plan to build a new residential project, with about 500 apartments, on a plot of land of about 2 hectares they own near Petrom City in the Străulești neighborhood of Bucharest.
Turkish investors made their debut in the residential development market last year with a 154-apartment project located in the same area, about 400 meters from Petrom City.
“We hope to be ready to start construction by the middle of next year or by the end of 2023,” said Liviu Suvac, chief business officer at Synergy Construct.
Huseyin Karali also said that in order to finance the residential project, he wants to attract partners from Western Europe, in addition to Levent Kirman, who is the president and CEO of Yeni Gimat, the owner of Ankamall in Ankara, Turkey.
