T-Mobile has over 3,000 base stations supporting the 5G network in Poland

T-Mobile has commercially launched 5G on more than 150 base stations, which means that the operator’s entire 5G network already includes over 3,000 stations, the company said.

Since the announcement of the project to expand the fifth generation network, the 5G range from T-Mobile has been consistently growing by about 120-140 stations a week. Exactly today, station No. 3000 has been launched, which is located in Strubiny in the Zakroczym commune. Other of over 150 activated in recent days stations are located, among others, in Częstochowa, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Kalisz, Lublin, Piła, Poznań, Strzelce Opolskie, Swarzędz, Szczecin, Wałbrzych, Wrocław, Zielona Góra and a dozen other towns throughout Poland, T-Mobile announced.

According to the operator, some cities are indicated multiple times in the messages.This is due to the fact that works on the expansion of the infrastructure are still in progress and further projects are underway, under which the 5G network reaches not only new towns, but also extends its reach in places where it was previously available. -Mobile implements a strategy of building as large and consistent clusters as possible with a continuous 5G network coverage. Of the current over 3,000 5G stations, most have been launched in the Warsaw agglomeration, the Upper Silesian Industrial District, as well as the Łódź, Kraków, Poznań and Gdańsk agglomerations.

The services of the T-Mobile and Heyah networks are available on nearly 100% of the territory of Poland. The first co-founder and currently the sole owner of T-Mobile Polska is the Deutsche Telekom group.
