Tallest building in Bucharest nears completion

1 August 2012

Sky Tower, located in the northern Bucharest, became recently the tallest building of the capital with 137 meters. The building is owned by Raiffeisen Property International and developed by real estate company Raiffeisen Evolution.

It was built at a pace of one floor every 5 days. The top floor – the 37th – was finished in June.

The Austrian contractor Strabag is working on the interior of the building and installing the final facade elements to the top floors, in order to meet the deadline and allow Raiffeisen Bank to relocate its head offices here on floors 2-7 next spring.
