Tambov commits RUB 221m to resettle tenants of dangerous apartment buildings

The Tambov region has allocated RUB 221m for the resettlement of emergency housing tenants. These funds will be used for the resettlement of 452 people who live in 34 damaged houses into new apartments. It’s part of an ongoing program through which the Tambov region has invested RUB 3.98bn between 2008 and 2015 to repair buildings and to resettle citizens from dangerous buildings. These funds were used to carry out repairs on 2,825 homes and to make improvements of living conditions for 292,402 people. In addition, 4,816 people received new housing due to the poor technical state of the buildings they were living in.
