Boston-based real estate investment firm High Street Realty Co. has purchased the Tampa Distribution Center. Built in 1973 the 955,000 square-foot center consists of six distribution buildings on a 53.8-acre parcel located at 1212 N. 50th St. in Tampa. The average unit size is 15,000 square feet with dock-high, tilt-wall construction and 20-foot ceilings. Major tenants include Lansing Building Products, Consolidated Container Co., Motion Industries, Ricoh USA and Brighton-Best International. The seller, MetLife Real Estate Investors, bought the property in 1974.
