Tarom resumes search for new top manager

1 November 2012

The Romanian airline company Tarom is once again searching for a new top manager after its newly appointed one, Heinrich Vystoupil, resigned over a contract dispute.

Sorin Georgescu will serve as interim manager during the search. The administration board said in a statement that it hope the hiring process would not take long. A new CEO will be selected from a list of candidates provided by the Ministry of Transport.

Vystoupil had been appointed to the position on Oct. 17 but left following contractual disagreements. He also stepped down as member of the board of administration.

Vystoupil is a former head of the Austrian Airlines office for Romania and the Republic of Molodova.
