Tatra banka decides to sell TatraCity building

6 October 2020

Tatra banka is selling off one of the buildings in the 16,000 sqm TatraCity complex on Černyševského street in Bratislava. The decision appears to be based on changing work patterns at the bank which include allowing employees to work from home with greater frequency. “The banking business and its space requirements are naturally evolving,” said board members Natalia Major. “In Tatra banka, we’re monitoring all of the new trends and the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic only confirmed for us that changing our office space operational strategy is the right step forward.” The 8-storey building provides 4,000 sqm of space and its sale has been entrusted to JLL. “One of the main advantages of Černyševského 48 is an efficient and simple floor plan with interesting options of flexible space division, which opens up several possibilities for future owner,” said JLL’s Head of Capital Markets Rudolf Nemec.
