Teamnet with AFT Design Group will open its first research and production center in early 2017 for autonomous systems. Construction works for Autonomous R&D Center has been underway for two years. The research center will build three types of autonomous robots: unnammed aircraft in the first phase, followed by land and naval systems.
“Currently we are in the process of operationalization of the research and production center a located near the Clinceni airfield,” said Bogdan Padiu, CEO Teamnet Group. “In addition to products already known as Hirrus UAV and aircraft tactical Signus, we will be able to develop other types of autonomous aerial systems in cooperation with our partners in aviation and robotics, such as Airbus and BlueBird. Also next year, we intend to expand our network of partners regionally,” he added.
