The Naxos auction house is putting TechnoPark, an industrial zone in Pardubice, on the block with a starting price of over CZK 160m (without VAT). The company is promoting the 58,000 sqm property primarily as a real estate investment, claiming it pulls in CZK 16.5m in rent annually, according to general director of Naxos Jan Sachr. “TechnoPark has the potential to offer more rental space,” he says, “and new space could be built on available land.” TechnoPark was opened in 2008 with the vision that it would become a technology park offering space as a business incubator. These plans were never fulfilled and the project ended up in bankruptcy.
