The National Company of Motorways and National Roads of Romania (CNADNR) has signed a contract for the design, technical assistance and execution of the modernization work of a 10.4 km section of the Capital beltway.
The contract, worth about RON 190m (€42.2m), was awarded through an open auction, to Tehnologica Radion (controlled by the businessman Theodor Bern), Consitrans and PRO Cons XXI.
The specific section of road situated between the DN 2 (Voluntari area) and the A2. The schedule includes 90 days for design work to be completed and 450 days for execution. Funding is provided from the state budget.
