Telekom Romania, the former Romtelecom company, has put several properties on sale. These include a plot of land located behind the Novotel Hotel in the center of Bucharest, the Tandem building near Novotel, and also the Palatul Telefoanelor building. The starting price for the entire package has been set at €21.6m. The sale of the properties will be done through an auction for which potential buyers must register by Oct. 20. Andreas Grunewald, executive director of Telekom Romania, says the assets are being capitalized to enable the company to become the number one telecom services provider in the country.
