TeraPlast Group, the largest producer of construction materials with local shareholders, received the approval of the Competition Council for taking over 70 percent of the shares of the flexible packaging manufacturer Somplast Năsăud.
The transaction concluded at the end of last year amounted to RON 4.9 million, and the package was sold by SIF Banat Crişana, a company led by Bogdan Dărăgoi, former finance minister.
TeraPlast representatives say they are also implementing an investment of EUR 12 million, co-financed by the state aid scheme, for the construction of a biodegradable foil factory in the Sărăţel Industrial Park.
