Terveystalo Oyj have entered in to a contract to sell their entire share capital in Kiinteistö Oy Porin Linnankulman to Erikoissijoitusrahasto eQ Liikekiinteistöt. The price for the real estate company is reported to be approximately €16 million, while thenet debt-adjusted purchase price of shares comes to around €7 million. Terveystalo is expected to receive a capital gain of around €6 million from the sale. Terveystalo has agreed a temporary 10 year lease back of the properties owned by Kiinteistö Oy. Ilkka Laurila CFO of Terveystalo said that with this sale “we are able to release capital to develop our business, and this will help improve Terveystalo’s solvency and contribute to the implementation of our strategy.”
