Cluj-Napoca County plans to expand its Tetarom 1 industrial park by 12 ha. The investment is expected to cost €42m, half of which will be covered by EU funds. Horia Uioreanu, president of the Cluj County Council, said Wednesday that a contract has been signed and work is scheduled to start in June. The expansion is expected to take 17 months. The project will be overseen by ACI SA, SC Electromontaj Bucharest and Nord Conforest SA. Tetarom 1 opened in Cluj-Napoca in 2005 and currently houses 50 companies.
