TH Real Estate has acquired the HUMA Einkaufswelt shopping center in Schwabach near Nürnberg from Jost Hurler Beteiligungs und Verwaltungs GmbH & Co. The acquisition increases the number of assets in the portfolio of the Core German Retail Fund (CGRF) to seven. MEC METRO-ECE Centermanagement will be taking over management of the center.
The mall opened in 2012, offering 36,400 sqm of retail space and 1,350 parking places. The property is located in the industrial area Falbenholz, about 20 kilometers south of Nürnberg. The anchor tenants include the textile retailer Fashion Röther, Toys ‘R’ Us and Media Markt. Core German Retail Fund (CGRF) invests in retail properties in Germany from the Core and Core-Plus-Segment.
