The bid on Poland’s pipe line is on the way

The tender for the first Poland’s pipeline contract is underway, according to the Parkiet.pl website, with seven companies having submitted their offers so far. The first phase of the project is to be a pipeline linking Gdańsk with Szczecin. The lowest price offered was PLN 61.4m in a bid by Nafta Gas-Serwis. Nafta Gas is competing with giants such as PGNiG Technologie, a subsidiary of Polish PGNiN, which made a bid of PLN 73.7m. Meanwhile, a consortium named PBG and a company called Pol-Aqua giving bid PLN 82.6m and PLN 119.4m respectively for the contract. The winner player should sign the contract for the work by the end of the March. The work is expected to be completed by September.
