The construction of the Belgrade Center railway station in Prokop will be completed in about three years, announced the Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic. He attende the presentation of the project for the construction of the new railway station building and accompanying commercial facilities in Prokop.
The Minister announced that the ongoing works in the Belgrade Center will be completed in August 2021, and that their value is around EUR 11 mil. Once completed the Ministry will enter into negotiations with the World Bank and that the second phase of works, which refers to railway infrastructure, with an estimated cost between EUR 25 mill. and EUR 30 mil.
The third stage will be without cost according to the model of public-private partnership, the private investor will make the appropriate development to railway infrastructure and buildings in return will receive the space to invest and put into commercial function.
