29 September 2021

Expenditures of the State Investment Support Fund (SFPI) will fall to CZK 4.45 billion next year from the expected CZK 4.84 billion this year. Revenues should then fall to CZK 3.03 billion from this year’s CZK 3.44 billion. The draft budget of the fund was approved by the government today, the Minister for Regional Development Klára Dostálová (for YES) informed at a press conference. The government increased revenues for next year by CZK 1.34 billion and expenditures by one billion crowns compared to the original material.

The State Housing Development Fund (SFRB) raised money to support housing. It managed his own money and distributed contributions from the relevant European Union funds. Its aim was to support private and municipal investment in the construction, repair and modernization of apartments.

Last year, the fund was renamed the State Investment Support Fund. In addition to the competencies of the former SFRB, it has expanded its scope to include, for example, the sustainable development of municipalities, cities and regions, and tourism. According to the ministry, the renaming of the fund and the expenses associated with it cost about CZK 880,000. Costs included, for example, exchanging forms, stamps, payment orders, or modifying websites.
