Oak Brook, Ill.-based The Inland Group of Real Estate Cos. Inc. has purchased the Retreat at Orlando, a student housing complex near the University of Central Florida, for $72.5 million. Located at 11037 Retreat Ave in east Orlando, the 221 unit Craftsman-style “cottages” property traded for $328,054 per unit. The seller, Athens, Ga.-based Landmark Properties Inc. completed the community last year. The property was 100 percent leased at the time of the closing.
The complex features high-quality finishes in the living areas with gourmet kitchens, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, built-in bookcases and private bedrooms. Among the amenities are a resort-style pool; volleyball, basketball and tennis courts and group study rooms.
