The Lett rental apartment platform is expanding its presence in Poland

3 June 2024

The housing platform, developed by Nrep, has expanded its portfolio of investments to include another location in Warsaw. New, fully furnished apartments for long-term rental, in addition to Mokotów and Bemowo, are now also available in Praga Północ. The project, implemented by the developer Wawel Development, has received a BREEAM certificate at the VERY GOOD level.

Lett Markowska offers 116 studios and two-bedroom apartments. Soon, an additional 63 units will be available, ultimately providing tenants with 179 apartments, including 83 two-bedroom and 96 studios, located in three buildings. All ready units are fully furnished and equipped, providing tenants with comfortable and functional living spaces. Additionally, residents have access to an underground garage, storage units, and a playground with sandboxes and slides. A new feature in this location is the coworking area, where residents can enjoy modern workspaces equipped with ergonomic desks, fast Wi-Fi, and other necessary amenities. Furthermore, a relaxation zone has been provided in the coworking space.

“The rental apartments offered through the Lett platform are a response to the growing demand for modern and comfortable living spaces, located in attractive parts of cities. On Markowska Street in Warsaw, we have created a place that not only provides tenants with convenient accommodation, easy access to an extensive public transportation network but also aspires to build a community. We hope that access to common spaces and various events dedicated to residents will encourage neighborhood integration,” said Maciej Piotrowicz, Head of Nrep Poland.

For all investments within the Lett platform, minimizing their environmental impact is crucial. Therefore, low-emission building materials were used during the construction phase. The building is equipped with solutions to reduce CO2 emissions during operation, including a hybrid heat pump system, which primarily uses heat pumps for heating the building and heating water, supported only by energy from the district heating system during the coldest periods. Solar panels have been installed on the roof. These efforts have resulted in the building achieving a BREEAM certification at the VERY GOOD level.

“From the developer’s perspective, the opportunity to carry out a project for an institutional entity is an excellent way to diversify revenue. Our project in Warsaw’s Praga Północ perfectly meets the rental market requirements, offering high-quality, comfortable apartments with optimal space. An additional advantage of this investment is the pioneering solutions in environmental protection and energy efficiency, which will become increasingly popular in the future, even in the market for individually sold apartments. If our clients have such expectations, we will be able to implement them in future projects,” said Grzegorz Zagrabski, CEO of Wawel Development.
