The Modřanka residence Prague is completely sold out

5 September 2022

The Horizon development group announces that they are all sold out 355 residential units in the multipurpose project Modřanka. The last stage with 50 apartments that were successfully approved in July 2022, thus confirming the high interest in living in the complex. As only the second residential project in the Czech Republic, it was awarded BREEAM certification at the “Very Good” level. Modřanka’s popularity is mainly due to its thoughtful architecture in the style of neoplasticism, easy transport connections with the rest of the metropolis, community character and excellent civic amenities.

The construction of the Modřanka residential project on the right bank of the Vltava in the heart of Prague’s Modřany started in 2015. In total, 355 apartments, mainly in 1+kk and 2+kk layouts, and 5 commercial units, of which 3 are currently sold. The success of the complex was already confirmed in 2017 when it won the architects’ award in the Real Estate Project of the Year competition.

Modřanka was designed to appeal to individuals, couples and families with children. Minimalist interior design, functional common areas for residents, including for example parking spaces in the underground floor or spacious basement cubicles, sustainability and economy have made the residence a self-sufficient unit for a comfortable life on the quiet outskirts of Prague, within reach of the sports complex and one of the main Prague cycle paths. Part of the complex is also the freely accessible Park Museum referring to the history of Staré Modřany.

“I am extremely pleased with the success with which we managed to complete the project. And I’m also proud of the background we were able to create here. One in which 355 new households were created. I am already looking forward to the positive response to our other projects being developed in different parts of Prague. For example, the residence Near in Karlín, Strakonická in Smíchov and the 3rd stage of Čámovka,” says Yishay Furman, CEO of the Horizon Group.

The company Horizon, which has been active on the Czech market since 2001, successfully sold out the 2nd stage of the Čámovka project in Prague’s Čimice with 148 new apartments during the past year, and it also experienced no less success with its premium Kay River Lofts project in Prague’s Karlín. All 55 apartments in this boutique project were handed over to new owners this year.

Horizon is currently working on the large-scale project Aura – Statenice Housing in the northwest of Prague. Sales of 79 family homes with premium plots of up to 1,500 square meters in Phase 1 have recently been launched. At the same time, Horizon continues successfully with the sale of the last stage of the popular Zahálka project next to the golf course in Prague’s Hodkovičky.
