The Romanian state will invest EUR 38.3 million in the rehabilitation of the current headquarters of the Romanian Academy on Calea Victoriei, which will be transformed into a museum, but also in the construction of a new building that will be built as an extension to the existing building and where the Academy offices will function.
“The rehabilitation, consolidation, modernization and endowment of the historic headquarters of the Romanian Academy is a project of national importance, taking into account the activities of the Academy carried out for 150 years in the service of the Romanian nation for the spiritual and cultural unity of the Romanian provinces.” it is said in the statement.
