The Supreme Audit Office has found irregularities in the amount of CZK 4.8 billion in the Ministry of Interior’s account. The deficiencies relate to the reporting of minor fixed assets in the financial statements of 2014. “These deficiencies affect the information on predictions for future budgets. According to the inspectors, the Ministry of Interior did not have correct and complete accounting. If the Ministry does not correct the deficiencies, the inaccuracies will affect the financial statements for the Czech Republic for the year 2015,” said the spokesman for Supreme Audit Office.
