The Villar Group, controlled by the heirs of the Israeli millionaire Shlomo Tisser, is launching on the logistics sector of the Romanian real estate market with a project in Dragomirești-Vale, in the vicinity of CTPark Bucharest and Altex Logistic Park, near the Bucharest-Pitesti Highway, on a plot of 16 hectares. Work is currently underway on the first two halls out of a total of eight planned units. The first two halls have a total area of about 20,000 sqm, and the entire park has a planned area of 77,000 sqm. The development cost of Villar Logistic Parks is estimated at EUR 35-40 million.
“We started looking for tenants recently, as we do not develop on a speculative basis. The project is a start for us in the logistics sector in Romania, which we want to expand, but the parent company, Villar International, is the owner of logistics spaces in Israel. We still have land for logistics developments around Bucharest and beyond,” said Adrian Petre, the project manager of the project in Dragomirești-Vale .
