Greetings one and all. It has been a hectic start to 2016, so much so that I cannot believe it is already May. The real estate market in both Czechia(!) and Slovakia is performing strongly and this has led to our busiest start to a year since 2008, with numerous new instructions for acquisitions and sales of retail, office and industrial properties.
We have already closed several transactions this year both in
Prague and Bratislava for the likes of Markland and Caerus. There is also a huge glut of work on the financing side of things which is once again proving to be a strong area for 2016. But it has not all been about work. We have had a few office events already this year, with a Prague office ski trip to Austria, a Prague office dinner and drinks and the same in Slovakia, all of which were well attended.
