In the city of Tetovo in North Macedonia, production will begin in October of a new work glass production factory. The 9,000 sqm facility is currently under construction ahead of its opening with around 300 new people. The plant will produce tempered and other types of specialized glass. The construction works started at the end of 2018 and should be completed by the end of July. By August the facility should be equipped with new machinery and equipment. Roughly 80 percent of output from the plant will go towards export.
