The office space that will be delivered this year is the lowest in the last five years, but the ones scheduled to be delivered next year are generous.
According to the latest report of CBRE Romania – Market Outlook 2022, only six office buildings with a leasable area of 135,700 sqm will be delivered and will increase the stock of modern office space to 3.3 million sqm. The offices are developed by AFI, One United Properties, River Invest, Forte Partners and Atenor.
The planned office area for 2023 is estimated at a total of 267,300 sqm and enters directly into the top 3 deliveries in a span of 10 years.
“Companies that are looking for new modern spaces or those that will have to renew their leases could be in a very awkward position, because the owners will have a very solid negotiating position. At the same time, however, the time we are currently in is the best time to start a decision-making process, āexplains Vlad Damian, Head of A&T Services Office | Investor Leasing, CBRE Romania.
