Over 700 companies or individuals and over 5,000 employees have to claims against Mic.ro Retail, the failed Romanian retailer owned by Dinu Patriciu.
While insolvencies have become commonplace in recent years, the Mic.ro case is raising eyebrows thanks to the sheer number of creditors involved.
In total, according to preliminary table published by RVA Insolvency claims, the liquidator of the company, Mic.ro debts are more than RON 810 m (€185 m).
The revelations may shed light on the unsuccessful attempt by Patriciu to sell off the company.
