Thyssenkrupp expands factory in Sibiu

Thyssenkrupp opened an automotive components factory at its existing facility in Sibiu, central Romania. The German industrial group invested €60m in the factory extension, which will manufacture dampers for companies like Daimler, Jaguar Land Rover and Porsche. Thyssenkrupp has been active in Sibiu since 1996. The company currently employs more than 1,000 people in the city.
