Tigáz, the Hungarian natural gas distributor, has appointed a new president to lead the company. Now 50% owned by the Italian ENI group in 2005, the company entrusted the post to Fabrizio Dassogno, who takes over after a seven-year stint by Cesare Cuniberto. The 53 year old Dassogno has worked at ENI since 2001, whiile Cuniberto will continue Union Fenosa Gas, a Spanish subsidiary of ENI. Tigáz is the largest supplier of natural gas in the country, with a pipeline distribution network of more than 33,000 km.
