Hungary’s largest tile producer, Zalakeramia, has started the expansion of its production and logistics center in Romhany, Nograd County. The EUR 61m investment will cover an area of 100.000 square meters, and will see the number of employees double. The expansion of the plant will enable the company to produce large-size floor tiles, thus expanding the company’s portfolio. The investment is planned to be completed by 2025 and iincrease Zalakeramia’s export volumes to Czechia, Slovakia and Romania from 8% to 35%.
