The American company Timken has announced the construction of a new bearing factory in Ploiesti, which would be its second in Romania. Construction of new 15,000 sqm plant is expected to begin in the first quarter of next year, and the deadline for completion is early 2017.
The company will initially employ 120 people for the new facility, which is part of its strategy of expanding geographically and making its production more competitive.
