The Tomasso Group has closed on the sale of the Medical Arts Center at The Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute to a publicly traded medical office REIT. Located at 201 North Mountain Road, in Plainville, Connecticut, the 72,022 sqf facility changed hands for $30.25 million. Completed in 2014, the office building is physically connected to, and shares a lobby with the Cancer Center, which also leases the entire first floor. At the time of the sale the center was 95 percent leased by Hartford Healthcare, Orthopedic Associates of Hartford, and Hartford Healthcare-employed physicians. Holliday Fenoglio Fowler marketed the property exclusively on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer. Tomasso Group affiliate, Tunxis Management Company, will continue to manage the property post-closing.
