At the construction site of KREO, which is being built at 12 Wadowicka Street, another milestone has been reached – the construction of the above-ground structure has been completed. Now the work is focused on completing the facade and interior of the building.
The KREO office building has been topped out, symbolizing the completion of a key stage of construction. The modern, 8-storey building will provide tenants with more than 24,000 sqm of state-of-the-art office space. This is another Ghelamco project in Krakow after the .big office building.
“We are building one of the largest office buildings in Krakow, which reflects our faith in this market. The capital of Lesser Poland is one of the most dynamically developing business centers in Central and Eastern Europe and the second-largest office market in Poland. KREO will become an ideal place for ambitious, thriving companies for which innovation, creativity and sustainability matter,” says Jarosław Zagórski, Commercial & Business Development Director at Ghelamco Poland.
KREO will provide tenants with easy to arrange offices with floor space of more than 2,700 sqm. The office building will stand out with its elegant, timeless architecture and innovative solutions. A rooftop terrace will be available for users to enjoy the view of Krakow’s skyline. The building itself will have amenities for cyclists, including a parking lot for more than 70 bicycles, showers and lockers. Car users will benefit from more than 300 parking spaces in the underground garage and additional 24 spaces in front of the building. Electric car charging stations are also provided inside. Moreover, the area around KREO will be filled with new plants. Like all Ghelamco’s projects, the building will be BREEAM-certified.
One of the project’s advantages is its location, which enables easy and quick access to the very center of Krakow. KREO’s location encourages the use of public transport and bicycles – it takes no more than 10 minutes to get to the Old Town and 25 minutes to Balice airport by car.
Q-arch, a Krakow-based architectural studio, is responsible for KREO’s design. Mota-Engil Central Europe is the general contractor for the building. Project will be commissioned next year.
