Total stock of warehouse and industrial space in Poland raised to 16.8 million sqm

2 August 2019

Almost 1.1 million sqm of modern warehouse and industrial space was delivered in the first half of 2019 in Poland. That’s the highest volume of new supply ever recorded in Poland during a six-month period according to Savills. It brings the total stock of modern warehouse and industrial space in Poland to 16.8 million sqm. The Warsaw area contains the greatest portion of that total (4.1 million sqm), but Central Poland (2.73 million sqm) has overtaken Upper Silesia’s 2.66 million sqm thanks to 246,500 sqm delivered to the market in that region in H1. Over 2.2 million sqm of warehouse and industrial space remains under construction across Poland, with Panattoni’s 210,000 sqm BTS Amazon Gliwice the biggest project currently underway, writes Savills.
