In 2019, the total supply of modern warehouse space in Poland exceeded 18 million sqm, according to the latest report of Colliers International. The demand for warehouse space in Poland last year reached a record high of 4.25 million sqm. New contracts constituted a high share in total demand, accounting for as much as 55 percent of transactions. Despite numerous investments carried out in 2019, with a total area of 2.79 million sqm, supply is still not keeping up with demand. The largest investments completed in recent quarters include the new Zalando logistics center in Olsztynek (120,500 sqm) and three new Amazon facilities (in total more than 315,000 sqm).
