The Japanese motor concern Toyota might encounter some serious difficulties operating on Polish auto market, after Poland’s Antitrust Office decided to take closer look at the company’s activities. It suspects Toyota has been forcing car dealers to sell their brand exclusively, and an investigation is currently underway. A representative of the Anti Trust office says of particular interest will be the agreements the Japanese auto giant has been signing with Polish dealers. Toyota reportedly considers the charges groundless, claiming the new dealership agreements are in line with European competition legislations.
