The logistics service provider Trans Service Team has acquired an 85,000 sqm plot at the former Gneisenau coal mine Dortmund-Derne from RAG Montan Immobilien. The parties have agreed not to disclose the price of the deal. According to market sources, Trans Service Team is planning to build a 22,610 sqm logistics hall to be used as an external warehouse for snack foods manufacturer Intersnack. Construction of the project is set for 2016 and is expected to result in the creation of up to 120 new jobs in Derne.
