Transavia will begin regular flights between Sofia and Amsterdam starting in 2017. The flights, which will be run three times per week, with the first scheduled for May 10. Wizz Air also operates a flight between Bulgaria and Holland between Sofia and Eindhoven.
The main low cost flight companies that operate in Bulgaria are Wizz Air, Ryan Air and Transavia. Ryanair recently announced that its base in Sofia will open this month and that 21 new destinations will be added by November. The Dutch low cost carrier Transavia will launch ten new routes from Amsterdam and Eindhoven next year.
