In a rare example of new urban logistics space, The Charnwood Company is building a new 5,000 sqm warehouse in its Eastgate Park Prague project. And in a deal with the logistics company Transconsult International, the space will be filled upon completion of the construction work. 108 Agency mediated the agreement to fill the new building, which will increase the park’s capacity by 12 percent. “New industrial construction within Prague is exceptional,” says Matěj Indra, a consultant at 108 Agency. “We are pleased that the extension of Eastgate Park Prague will enable Transconsult International to develop its logistics activities in this modern space with excellent transport services.” Urban logistics projects are scarce not least because rapidly rising prices for residential developments has pushed land prices too high.
